Feeding Transitions- Returning to Work, Introducing Solids and Weaning Support on the Sunshine Coast
Change is a big part of your feeding journey- and some of the most overwhelming moments come not at the beginning, but as life starts to shift. Going back to work, starting solids, thinking about weaning- these are all moments where a little expert support can make the whole thing feel so much more manageable.
What might you be experiencing?I help mums across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie region through some of the most common- and most stressful- feeding milestones:
Returning to work while breastfeeding
Going back to work doesn't have to mean the end of breastfeeding. I can help you build a practical expressing routine, manage your supply around childcare hours, and feel confident about the transition- for both you and your baby.
Introducing solids
Starting solids is exciting but can also feel confusing- when to start, what to offer, how to balance milk feeds. I'll help you approach it in a way that feels relaxed and right for your baby, without the overwhelm.
Weaning
Whether you're ready to wean or feeling unsure, I can guide you through a gentle, gradual process that works for your family — managing supply, your baby's comfort, and your own emotions along the way.
Bottle to breast transition
Moving from bottle back to breast is absolutely possible with the right approach and support. I'll work with you and your baby patiently to make the transition as smooth as it can be.
